An exciting three month Band 6 secondment opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic team on Curie ward at Whipps Cross hospital. As part of our commitment to patients and staff we are temporarily replacing our nursing work force to meet the needs of our patients and further support our team with their professional development. We are a high turnover with short patient stay department providing excellent patient-centered nursing care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will work with the team to ensure that safe and compassionate care is delivered.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a proven experience working at a band 6 level or at least 1-2 years working as a band 5 , the candidate must evidence their ability to motivate and inspire others and work collaboratively with multi- disciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver the highest standards of leadership, care, staff support and service delivery. They must have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude to service developments.
