Job Summary Are you an experienced registered nurse seeking a new challenge? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to help lead a team in a fast-paced haematology environment? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are recruiting a Band 6 junior sister/charge nurse to join Ward J89 in the Bexley Wing at St Jamess Hospital. The unit comprises 20 beds and provides specialist care for patients with a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. The Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit is dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care for patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants, CAR-T therapy, and intensive chemotherapy treatments for various forms of leukaemia. Our patients and their families often face complex and demanding treatment journeys, requiring a team that is compassionate, adaptable, and highly skilled. Working closely with the senior sister, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting patients, relatives, colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job

Why you should join our Team Ward J89 forms part of the Oncology Clinical Service Unit (CSU), providing specialist care for haematology, oncology and surgical oncology patients. The ward is located within the Bexley Wing at St Jamess Hospital, a purpose-built cancer centre that opened in 2008 and offers state-of-the-art facilities to support exceptional cancer care.
