We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Ward Manager to join our Graham Ward Team on a 3-month fixed-term basis. During the fire safety works, patient care will be temporarily reconfigured, with patients from several specialties being cared for within Graham Stroke Unit. This will require exceptional leadership to coordinate patient flow, maintain patient safety, support multidisciplinary working, and ensure excellent communication between nursing teams and multiple consultant teams.

You will work closely with the Matron, multidisciplinary teams, operational managers and clinical colleagues to ensure the service continues to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care throughout the transition.

  • Lead incident management, risk mitigation and continuous quality improvement.
