Job summary
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. As an independent hospital manager, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or hold a relevant health or social care professional registration, with a postgraduate qualification being desirable. They should be passionate about providing high-quality care and possess strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively. Previous experience working within the social work, Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), or legal sectors, or having a particular interest or experience in mental health services, is considered a benefit

Job responsibilities
Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit an independent hospital manager to join the team in our 32 bedded locked service. This is a sessional role.
Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.
