Job summary
Were seeking an Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) for the Oral Health Practitioner standardsto join our End Point Assessment team.
Main duties of the job
In this role, youll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. Youll use your professional expertise to evaluate performance, ensure high standards, and help learners achieve their full potential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your clinical experience in a flexible role while contributing to the development of the next generation of oral health professionals.

Job responsibilities
How youll make an impact:
- Delivering EPA in line with the Dental Nurse and Oral Health Practitioner Level 4 standards
- Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
- Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
- Communicating with apprentices, ITPs and employers on EPA and grading

Knowledge
Essential
- A driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your area
Experience
Essential
- Recent relevant experience of the occupation/sector to at least the same level as a Dental Nurse
- Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
Qualifications
Essential
- A recognised Assessor qualification or working towards
- Occupational competence across the standard i.e. a General Dental Council registrant with appropriate post registration clinical experience and up-to-date continuing professional development
