An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the School Aged Immunisation Service (SAIS), delivering national vaccination programmes across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. You will work in schools and community settings, supporting children, families and partner organisations, and may assist with COVID-19 vaccinations as needed.

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate nurse with strong communication and organisational skills, committed to high-quality, child-centred care. Responsibilities include clinical assessments, obtaining consent, administering vaccines, maintaining accurate records and using digital systems.

You will also support safe vaccine transport, cold chain management, and maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver effective immunisation programmes and escalate any concerns in line with Trust policies.

Qualifications and Training

  • Registered General Nurse and/or RSCN
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Evidence of continued post registration professional development
