Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Application Support Analyst to join the Imaging team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for a part time, Monday and Tuesday, 15 hours a week position for Maternity Cover for approximately 1 year.
The post holder will work as part of the RIS PACS Team managing the day to day administration and management of the Imperial College NHS Trust Sectra IEP (Image Exchange Portal). The use of the IEP supports quick and secure electronic transfer of diagnostic images and reports between NHS Trusts and some authorized Institutions without the need for production of CDs. The IEP (Image Exchange Portal) post is currently based at St Mary’s Hospital but the successful applicant will be expected to travel to all Imperial College NHS Trust Hospital sites (e.g. Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary’s Hospitals) when required.

Main duties of the job
- Day to day administration/management of IEP and when required other Imaging applications.
- Provide application guidance & support and issue / problem resolution for IEP and when required the Diagnostic Cloud.
- Management of relationships with 3rd parties.
- Maintain systems (IEP and when required Diagnostic Cloud) reference data.
- Creation and maintenance of application support documentation.
- Maintain and update the existing and new user’s database on IEP.
- To develop and maintain Standard Operating procedures (SOP’s) for the IEP.
- Lead testing of new IEP connections for the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust sites.
- Be responsible for auditing, fault reporting, troubleshooting and maintenance of the IEP system.
- Provide training for use of IEP and Diagnostic Cloud including IEP with anyone requests as and when required.

Essential
- Knowledge of legislation regarding NHS Data Protection, specifically GDPR 2018
- Understanding of and adherence to legislation regarding NHS Data Protection, specifically GDPR 2018 relating to clinical data
- Proven Issue/Problem investigation and resolution skills
- Excellent Analytical Skills
Desirable
- SQL or equivalent skill
- Working knowledge of MS Office products i.e MS Mail, MS Excel, MS word etc
- Have knowledge of RIS and PACS technology and where these technologies fit in a Modern Imaging Department.
- Knowledge of IEP use in the NHS
Education
Essential
- Degree or Equivalent Experience in a Health Sciences or IT-related field, or demonstrable work to an equivalent level.
