Main duties of the job

The role

As an HR Advisor, youll play a key role in delivering a comprehensive HR service across multiple business areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating new starters, inductions, and training tracking
  • Conducting employee surveys to drive engagement and improvement initiatives
  • Producing management information, trackers, and reports to support decision-making
  • Supporting HR projects, including benchmarking and organisational initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with ASCWDF requirements and funding processes

About you

Were seeking someone who is:

  • Self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload
  • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Empathetic, approachable, and sensitive to the needs of others
  • A strong team player who can also work independently using initiative
  • Experienced in HR, ideally at Advisor level
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining confidentiality
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable

Essential

  • We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, empathetic, and capable of handling a busy workload. Experience in HR at the advisor level is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, is necessary. The successful candidate should be a strong communicator and can work both independently and as part of a team. A full driving license and vehicle access are desirable but not essential.
