Job summary

We are looking for a part time Hospital Administrator with a passion for making a difference to provide comprehensive administration support to Cygnet Nield House.

You will be working full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Cygnet Nield House in Crewe is our 29-bed mental health hospital for women.

Hospital Administrator

Cygnet Nield House.

Cygnet Nield House is split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services:

  • Clarion Ward a 14 bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder, with or without co-morbid disordered eating.
  • Compton Ward, a 15 bed acute service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission

Your Day-to-Day... Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support Prepare reports & other written materials to a high standard Keep files & records as required Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly Occasional minute taking at meetings & taking notes for meetings as & when required Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner.You are... An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet.Why Cygnet?
