An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (0.5 WTE) 8b Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join the MHTR service across Lincolnshire.
Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) is a recovery orientated mental health service that delivers high-quality care to reduce re-offending and support rehabilitation by addressing health-related drivers to offending behaviour. It is part of the Community Sentence Treatment Requirement (CSTR) programme, working with the National Probation Service, NHS England and other external agencies. The MHTR service provides psychological interventions to people in the community who have been charged with an offence that is eligible for a community or suspended sentence. The team is friendly, psychologically minded, and made up of a range of professional disciplines.
The team is based in Lincoln, and the role is county-wide across Lincolnshire.
Main duties of the job

This post is for 0.5 WTE with some opportunity to manage this within a flexible arrangement.
You will be the Clinical Lead for the team and so the role provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, pathway development work, and supervisory skills as well as your own therapeutic skills.
You will provide clinical oversight and supervision of the MHTR team in providing psychological interventions for individuals referred through the court as part of their community sentence. You will be supported through supervision from a Consultant Psychologist, alongside support from the Service Manager and Team Manager. Still a relatively new service, the post offers a real opportunity for shaping and developing the service.
Partnership working is important to the service. you will be required to engage with and maintain relationships with relevant partner agencies. They will also oversee and evaluate the team's screening, assessment and formulation processes and model(s) of intervention (in accordance with the existing CSTR Programme Operating Framework). The Clinical Lead will also hold a small caseload to provide treatment for more complex cases.
