Job overview

Applications are invited from motivated, efficient and committed individuals for a position of Health Records Clerk, based at Dafen Offsite Storage Facility, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.

Shifts will initially be worked between the hours of 08:45 to 17:00, with the possibility in the future of additional shifts (on a rotational basis) starting at 11:45 and finishing at 20:00.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will cover a range of duties (but not all) including;

  • Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
  • Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data
  • Scanning of patient records

Applicants must possess excellent organisational and inter-personal skills. A flexible approach to working and working hours is required and you should be prepared to undertake additional duties as and when required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital.
