An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, compassionate and outcome driven wellbeing leader to join our UHDB Team.

As part of the development of our staff wellbeing provision across the Derbyshire health and social care system, the successful candidate will play an integral role in  keeping colleagues healthy, safe and well across a range of organisations.

The Health Improvement Advisor Team Leader will lead and manage services provided to our partner organisations, including peer psychological support and wellbeing interventions through structured programmes of work aligned to their organisational need.

University Hospitals Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) deliver a range of innovative preventative wellbeing services within a dedicated Mental Health and Wellbeing team, set up to provide health and social care colleagues rapid access to assessment and local evidence-based support where needed.

This post holder will be primarily field based.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work within the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing multi-professional team with specialist knowledge to deliver a wide range of health and wellbeing services, including:

  • Working with the Head of Wellbeing and workforce health to develop and implement wellbeing programmes.
  • Developing collaborative relationships with new and existing system partners against clear service level agreements
  • Designing and delivering a range of health and wellbeing interventions that meets the needs of health and social care colleagues, including primary care, acute and community based services.
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with our partner organisations and generating opportunities new commercial relationships and services.
  • Delivery of psychological health and wellbeing promotion activities, including sessions specifically tailored to at risk groups, training for leaders and line managers, and awareness raising sessions
  • Proactively promote wellbeing services and develop new commercial services.
