Main duties of the job
Job Opportunity
In this role, you'll:
Lead and strengthen the regional Quality & Governance Framework
Ensure compliance with CQC, NHSE Quality Standards, ISO15189, and Forensic Science Regulator Codes
Oversee internal audits, inspections, incident management and risk processes
Drive continuous improvement using audit, incident and KPI data
Support patient safety initiatives and uphold information governance requirements
Provide expert governance leadership, advice and training to operational teams.

Grange Park SARC Building B Corbridge Community Health Centre, Church Terrace, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 2JN
Blue Sky Centre, George Eliot Hospital, College Street, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 7DJ
Remote - 2 days home working a week max. On site presence essential.
Working pattern: As needed 40 hours per week.
Frequent travel across the Midlands and occasional national travel.
Some exposure to sensitive information.
This is a full time role.
Hybrid working 2 days maximum per week, onsite presence essential.
Salary: Starting at £40,000 per annum, rising to £43,000 per annum after passing probation.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential
- You'll have experience in governance or quality roles within regulated healthcare, with understanding of ISO standards, CQC compliance, audits, incident management and data analysis. You'll be confident influencing at all levels and skilled at embedding robust governance in complex environments.
- Must have a full Driving License with access to car.
- DBS and Vetting required.
