Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Finance Department on a full time basis.

The post holder will work within departmental procedures and check, validate and process for payment invoices received for Continuing Health Care (CHC).

They will process all payments on a timely basis, ensuring Purchase to Payment procedures are adhered to and payment terms are met where appropriate.

The post holder will respond to queries efficiently and professionally.

The post holder will undertake administrative duties to assist with the co-ordination of day to day organisational processes and to ensure an effective team.

Main duties of the job

-To act as first point of contact for Independent Providers in relation to queries regarding invoices.

-To liaise with Independent Providers with regard to any inaccuracies found on invoices received and resolve routine errors.

-To check and validate invoices received in relation to Continuing Health Care (CHC).

-To process invoices received for payment in a timely manner.

-To input invoice information accurately onto an Excel Spreadsheet, ensuring that all relevant data is recorded, and the correct Supplier is selected for payment.

-To send batched invoices to the Procurement Department for uploading onto Oracle in a timely manner.

-To liaise with the Procurement Department to ensure that batched invoices are processed for payment and that no errors have occurred.

-To be responsible for the shared Outlook mailbox, ensuring emails are sent to the appropriate person.

-Work as part of a team and have effective oral and written communication skills.

-To support the CH Finance Team in the day to day running of the service.
