Based at Summerfield House, Aberdeen and Home as appropriate.
We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced individual to take on the role of Finance Administrator and support the busy Finance department. This is a role will report to the Financial Accountant but will be working closely with colleagues across the department and wider organisation to ensure the effectiveness of NHS Grampian’s financial processes.
You should be a self-driven, enthusiastic and customer-centric individual to join our dynamic and supportive team. This post will include ensuring financial procedures are followed, and data input is carried out with speed and accuracy to ensure deadlines are met. You will be required to maintain our system of financial delegation and support the validation of suppliers providing assistance and advice to a wide range of stakeholders as required. This is an exceptionally busy team so an ability to remain calm and focused under pressure is essential.
Applicants must be educated to Standard Grade level (passes) or equivalent and have relevant experience working within an finance function. Computer literacy is an essential skill and applicants must possess excellent communication skills and be both numerate and literate.
