Weekend, Bank Holiday and unsociable working hours (8pm - 6am) will attract an enhanced hourly pay. We are recruiting for a Facilities Operative at Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital. This 15 hour a week post involves working a 2 week rota pattern, working alternate weekends and shift times from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Recent cleaning experience welcome though not essential. A full induction and training programme will be applied at the start of your journey with us. Working weekends and Bank Holidays attract Enhanced rates of pay. Main duties of the job

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn all the back-ground skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, e.g. enhanced and periodic clean training, NHS National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training, COSHH, waste management and basic catering tasks i.e. making and serving of beverages, serving of patient meals.

  • A Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2. This could be an NVQ Level 2 apprenticeship, BTEC or equivalent international qualification.

  • You’ll need have sound communication skills to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing
