Catering Service Assistant – Retail Restaurant (County Hospital, Stafford)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive Catering Team at County Hospital, Stafford. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to support our busy retail restaurant, helping us deliver an exceptional service to patients, staff and visitors across the hospital.

Working alongside an experienced and friendly catering team, you will play an important role in ensuring our restaurant and wider catering services operate to a high standard. This position benefits from NHS terms and conditions, including access to generous annual leave, pension scheme, staff wellbeing support, and enhanced pay rates for any weekend or bank holiday working that may occasionally be required.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Catering Team at County Hospital Stafford. Working with an experienced team you will be delivering Fresh Food to our patients and visitors.

This position benefits from enhanced pay due to some working hours during Bank Holidays. The rota is as follows

Mon 14.30-19.00, Tue 14.30-19.00, Wed 14.30-19.00, Thu 14.30-19.00, Fri 14.30-19.00

Primary duties will include the presentation and service of meals to patients, supporting the restaurant meal services and general hygiene duties throughout the department

The individual will need to be adaptable, hardworking and be a self-motivated individual to meet the team and operational goals.
