Main duties of the job
What You'll Do
- Operate on a day shift you will be actively responding to breakdowns and job requests.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and fault-finding on generators, fire alarms, lighting and power, distribution boards, boilers, air-handling units, chiller plant, medical gas systems, calorifiers and hot & cold-water networks
- Undertake maintenance, improvement and minor capital works on all facilities across the Trust.
- Evaluate and respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritising safety for patients, staff and the public
- Conduct and document your own risk assessments for medium and high-risk tasks
- Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies, statutory standards and health & safety legislation
