Main duties of the job

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support at a senior level to Consultants and clinical teams within the department.

Produce, format, and manage complex documents—including reports and minutes of meetings—ensuring clarity, accuracy, and an organised presentation.

Maintain an efficient file management system, ensuring documents and records are easily accessible and up to date.

Monitor the functionality and turnaround time of the off-site transcription service, identifying issues promptly and reporting them to the Specialty Manager to maintain service efficiency.
