Key Responsibilities:
- Booking appointments, answering telephones and dealing with general enquiries
- Adhere strictly to Trust policies and the Data Protection Act 1998, ensuring confidentiality and sensitive handling of patient information.
- Flexibly to support the team to meet operational needs.

- Based at Northwick Park Hospital.
- May be required to work across other Trust sites as necessary.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing pressure and workload efficiently.
- Liaise with various hospital staff members to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Provide and receive routine patient information, including from GPs, with tact, discretion, and adherence to Trust and Caldicott guidelines.
- Handle enquiries professionally and cooperatively in person and over the phone from patients, medical personnel, and the general public.
- Maintain high concentration levels during daily duties, especially when inputting data and responding to queries, ensuring accuracy to minimise clinical risk.
- Manage potential exposure to distressing clinical information related to complex patient conditions and treatments with sensitivity.
