About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and monitoring ongoing employment compliance across the Avery Healthcare Group, with a particular focus on:

  • Sponsorship and UKVI compliance
  • DBS renewals
  • Visa monitoring and renewals
  • Employment audits and risk management
  • Stakeholder advice, guidance and training

Working closely with Home Administrators, Home Managers, Regional Directors and the wider People Team, you will act as a trusted compliance expert, helping to protect Avery's Sponsor Licence, minimise risk and ensure our employment records remain accurate, compliant and audit-ready.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical compliance expertise with strong relationship-building skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing employment compliance, including Right to Work and DBS processes
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK immigration legislation and sponsorship requirements
  • Excellent IT skills and data management capability
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel to various Avery locations when required

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience administering sponsored employees
  • Experience using the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS)
  • Knowledge of sponsorship extensions and visa administration processes
