Priory Lakeside ViewSalary £55,000Full-time role of 37.5 hours per weekPriory Lakeside View has an opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services who is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, to join our team. Priory Lakeside View, Willenhall, West Midlands is a specialist inpatient service supporting adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Noose Lane and Wolverhampton railway station approximately 3–4 miles from the service
What you'll be doing

We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.The DoCS plays a key role in developing and delivering the hospital Quality Strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of clinical and therapeutic care, regulatory compliance, and achievement of quality standards and performance indicators. They lead and coordinate effective clinical governance, supporting the implementation of site-wide governance, evidence-based practice, learning and improvements in patient care, while ensuring auditing and governance requirements are met. The role oversees governance reporting, restrictive practice reduction, incident and serious incident investigations, safeguarding, complaints and thematic reviews, ensuring timely reporting and learning is shared across the site and division. The DoCS monitors patient, relative and carer experience, supports regulatory and internal inspections, leads service and site improvement plans using SMART objectives, and provides coaching and training to enhance quality and practice. They maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensure contractual quality requirements are met, contribute to organisational policies and initiatives, and undertake on-call duties as part of the Senior Management Team.This position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours.
