Main duties of the job
As a Director of Clinical Services (Matron), you will: Quickly understand the clinical challenges facing our hospital and build excellent relationships with internal customers and external bodies Ensure that we provide safe and effective care through a range of surgical and medical interventions Deliver effective operational management and inspirational leadership Be a role model for excellent clinical governance, providing strategy and direction for our hospital Champion improvements to clinical standards, care and service across wards, theatres, outpatients, pharmacy, radiology, imaging, cardiology and pathology Always be approachable and accessible to patients, relatives and colleagues
About us
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
