Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, maintaining and developing the Trust's endpoint infrastructure, ensuring the reliable delivery of desktop, laptop, tablet and peripheral services across both clinical and corporate environments. Working closely with the Senior Digital Support Manager and external partners, the post holder will be responsible for the deployment, configuration and lifecycle management of endpoint devices, operating systems and applications, while supporting the Trust's migration to modern Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and cloud-based device management.
The role requires strong technical expertise across endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Active Directory and related technologies, together with an understanding of cyber security, software deployment, Group Policy and configuration management. The post holder will provide technical leadership, contribute to infrastructure improvements and change initiatives, work collaboratively with third-party suppliers and internal teams, and ensure that endpoint services remain secure, resilient and aligned with the Trust's digital strategy.

- Experience working within an IT support or infrastructure environment
- Experience of endpoint deployment and configuration (e.g. desktops, laptops, tablets)
- Experience of supporting Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Experience of working with device and application management tools (e.g. SCCM, Intune, Active Directory)
- Experience of working with users in a large organisational environment
- Experience of troubleshooting complex technical issues and delivering resolutions
Desirable
- Experience within an NHS or healthcare environment
- Experience of supporting Microsoft 365 migrations or upgrades
- Experience of application packaging and deployment
- Experience working with outsourced IT providers or third-party suppliers
Qualifications

- Demonstrable training or experience in Microsoft technologies (e.g. Windows, M365)
