It provides fast access to treatment for a range of psychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and Bristol Parkway railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership within the ward, ensuring a safe, therapeutic and inclusive environment for patients, families and staff. You will lead and support the nursing team, promoting high standards of care, effective risk management, multidisciplinary working and evidence-based practice. You will supervise and develop staff, support junior and student nurses, contribute to clinical supervision and take responsibility for agreed ward lead roles. You will also act as Named Nurse and shift leader, deputise for the Ward Manager when required, and support recruitment and retention, while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and governance standards.
