Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team as Deputy Pharmacy Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
* Support the organisation, management and development of the clinical pharmacy service at Spire Leicester Hospital. * Provide clinical pharmacy input across a range of specialties, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. * Work closely with consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care. * Support the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day running of the department. * Contribute to clinical governance, medicines management and service improvement initiatives. * Assist in the supervision and development of pharmacy colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the organisation, management and development of the clinical pharmacy service at Spire Leicester Hospital.
Provide clinical pharmacy input across a range of specialties, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
Work closely with consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
Support the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day running of the department.

Pharmacy degree.
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Extensive post-registration experience.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of hospital pharmacy practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous management or supervisory experience.
Good IT skills.
