An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Finance Business Partner to join the NHS Financial Management team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The postholder will support the Divisions of Surgery & Anaesthetics and Women, Children & Young People, providing high-quality financial management, analysis and advice to clinical and operational leaders.
Working closely with Divisional Management Teams, the role will focus on budget setting, forecasting, financial reporting and supporting delivery of cost improvement programmes. The successful candidate will help ensure robust financial control while enabling services to deliver safe, effective and sustainable patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver financial management support to allocated Divisions.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting.
- Provide clear financial analysis and advice to senior managers.
- Support delivery of cost improvement plans.
- Contribute to business cases and service developments.
