We’re looking for a dynamic Deputy Divisional Manager to play a key role in the effective delivery of the Urgent & Acute Directorate. Working closely with the Associate Director of Operations, you will use your specialist managerial skills to support delivery of the constitutional standards, as well as lead day to day operational management.
In this influential role, you’ll work with a range of MDT clinical colleagues and partners both in and outside of the organisation. You’ll work alongside colleagues throughout the organisation, contributing to strategic planning, performance, and service improvement.

Main duties of the job
The Deputy Divisional Manager will work with the Associate Director of Operations to ensure that:
- The high‑quality patient services meet Trust standards.
- Support delivery of performance improvement, including waiting‑time standards.
- Contribute to effective budget management and cost‑improvement delivery.
- Maintain strong clinical quality and infection‑control standards.
- Support clinicians to innovate their services.
- Promote effective HR practice, staff development, and workforce planning.
- Strengthen communication and engagement across teams.
- Drive continuous service improvement and lead key projects to completion.
