Job overview

This post offer an opportunity to an individual to work within the Booking Office at a Supervisory level, to ensure an efficient, well organised appointment and reception service in the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

The successful candidate will work alongside and in partnership with other Departmental Supervisors but will form part of the supervisory team of the Medical Records Department within the Health Board.  The successful person will also provide support to the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.

This post will be worked Monday - Friday  08:30 - 17:00 but  flexibility will be required as there will be the need to work some evenings and some weekends depending on the needs of the service.  There will also be a requirement to work at other locations within the Health Board for example Maesteg Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Booking Office Team provide a full appointment and reception  service for Outpatient Clinics.

Ensure the day to day organisation of outpatient clinics .

Ensuring there is a well trained workforce.

Support the Medical Records Manager and Deputy Manager.

Excellent keyboard, customer care  and communication skills are required for this role.
