Main Responsibilities:

As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will:

  • Provide a welcoming and supportive front-line service to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

  • Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate patient records (both electronic and paper-based), manage referral and recall lists, and ensure timely data entry and analysis.
  • Support clinicians by preparing day lists and coordinating patient notes.
  • Process incoming and outgoing post, referrals, and reports.
  • Liaise with other clinics and services to support patient care pathways.
  • Contribute to service improvements by implementing and adapting policies and procedures.
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying, and typing.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Guidelines.
