We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as EPR Data Quality Analyst, supporting one of the most significant digital transformation programmes across the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) healthcare system.
As part of the implementation of a shared Electronic Patient Record (EPR), you will play a vital role in ensuring patient information is accurate, complete and ready for migration into the new system. Your work will directly contribute to patient safety and support clinicians in delivering high-quality care.
Main duties of the job
Working within the EPR Data Quality Team, you will review, validate and correct patient information held within our existing systems. You will use a range of reports to identify data quality issues and make appropriate corrections to ensure the successful migration of patient records.
Examples of data quality checks include:
- Reviewing duplicate or invalid NHS numbers
- Correcting incomplete patient demographic information
- Updating missing GP or GP practice details
- Validating addresses and postcodes
- Resolving historical appointments requiring outcomes
- Supporting the wider data migration and EPR implementation programme
Full training will be provided, although experience or knowledge of Oracle Health Millennium and NHS patient administration systems would be beneficial.
