Main duties of the job

As a Lead for the Children and Young Person's service you will: Play a vital role in the child's journey through the hospital. Be a trusted guide and support to them as well as to their parents or guardians. Deliver high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of our ward team. Work with a wide variety of cases which will broaden your skills. You will also work within different specialist areas. Be accountable for the operational and clinical management of the CYP service Work collaboratively with consultants and a range of stakeholders to drive and develop the CYP service Lead and manage a team of specialist nurses to deliver a bespoke service for our patients Participate in the on-call rota Promote innovation within the service to be responsive to service user needs.
