We have 2 posts in MOSAIC CAMHS, a Specialist Disabilities CAMHS service in Camden Team.
The posts, based in Camden MOSAIC CAMHS, this is part of the CAMDEN Integrated Children‘s Service and based in the MOSIAC service. MOSAIC is an integrated service for children and young people with disabilities, and their families. It aims to enable families to help their children to participate to their best ability in family and community life.
MOSAIC provides the skills and professionals needed to support the needs of children and young people with disabilities. It is a joint service provided in partnership with a number of different North London trusts and the Local Authority in Camden. The service is lead by colleagues from CNWL.
The service aims to help children and young people to join in with all aspects of school, leisure, community activities, and support their independence and involvement in all decisions that affect them, preparing them for adult life.
The service provides assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention from a range of professionals from health and social care to create a 'team around the child'. MOSAIC brings together MOSAIC CAMHS the Child Development Team for under 5s, the Camden school age Social Communication Assessment Servicethe local authority Social Care team and the Children and Young People’s Disability Service. We maintain close working links with Educational Psychology, Swiss Cottage School and Camden SEN. Course start date: 18th January 2027
Main duties of the job
Training Information
This full-time training will begin in January 2027 with around 2-3 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients (children, young people, and carers) related to training assignments. Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.
