We make health happen!

At Bupa, our purpose is simple: helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. We’re a global healthcare company with no shareholders, which means our customers come first in everything we do.

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Lead PMO to play a key role in protecting and strengthening Bupa's global business. Reporting to the Head of Group Cyber Delivery, you'll lead the Group-level Project Management Office (PMO), helping to deliver cyber security programmes that support our people, customers and business worldwide.

This is an opportunity to work at the heart of Bupa's cyber security function, partnering with teams across multiple countries and business areas. You'll help shape how large-scale programmes are governed, reported and delivered, ensuring projects remain focused, efficient and aligned to strategic priorities.

If you're an experienced PMO/Project Manager leader who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, influencing senior stakeholders and driving successful delivery across global organisations, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As our Cyber Lead PMO, you’ll be the driving force behind our most important projects. You’ll:

  • Lead and develop the Group-level PMO supporting cyber security projects and programmes across Bupa.
  • Make sure programmes align with strategic goals, budgets, timelines and delivery plans.
  • Define and promote project management standards, methods, tools and best practice across the Group.
  • Create clear reporting, dashboards and performance measures that provide meaningful insights for senior leaders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Work closely with Market Unit and Business Unit PMO and delivery teams to build strong alignment across programmes.
  • Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional activities and programme dependencies.
  • Support business change and communication activities that help programmes succeed.
  • Track programme performance, including milestones, benefits, costs and resource utilisation.
  • Manage financial planning, forecasts and budget reporting, identifying risks and driving corrective actions where needed.
  • Support procurement activities, working closely with Finance and Legal teams to ensure compliance and value for money.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s confident, collaborative, and ready to lead from the front. You’ll need:

  • Extensive project and programme management experience, including leadership within a PMO environment.
  • A recognised qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent project management qualifications)
  • Experience working in large, complex global organisations
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting and governance information
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to build trust, influence decisions and drive outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • An analytical mindset and confidence using data to support decision-making.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet or Power BI
  • Experience delivering cyber security, technology or transformation programmes.

Benefits

Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme and includes all aspects of our health – from mental and physical, to financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and have a range of family-friendly benefits.

Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with the option to buy or sell
  • Enhanced pension and life insurance
  • Annual bonus and car allowance
  • Private medical insurance
  • Global wellbeing days
  • Opportunities for career development and internal mobility
