Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 CPA Coordinator/ward clerk to work at Seward Lodge

Seward Lodge is our assessment and treatment unit for older people with dementia base in Hertford, with our staff caring for those who are at their most acute and vulnerable stage of their life.

Seward Lodge provides a high standard of care and treatment in a safe and therapeutic setting for service users in the most acute and vulnerable stage of their illness. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative person to work within this unit.

The demands of this exceptional service mean that you need to be versatile and flexible with the ability to use initiative and work under direct and indirect supervision.

You will take the lead in administering Care Program Approach meetings and to undertake general ward clerk duties whilst working closely with the Team Leader and the Consultants. Excellent IT skills are essential.

An ability to communicate effectively with a range of professionals is paramount.

The CQC have noted that we are an Outstanding Trust and the Forest House team supports their carers and family to ensure a holistic multi-disciplinary approach to care planning is achieved.  Previous experience of working with this client group is desirable but not essential.
