Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Contracts Team and help deliver robust contract negotiation, formation and management across a complex portfolio of services.

You will act as a senior ambassador for the Trust in negotiations with commissioning  and provider partners and work closely with clinical, operational and corporate leaders to minimise financial, clinical and operational risk.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead and support the development, negotiation and management of contracts and service level agreements, working with Divisional and Corporate colleagues.
  • Maintain an accurate contracts register, filing systems and up-to-date service specifications.
  • Represent the Trust at internal and external meetings relating to the contract portfolio, building effective relationships with commissioning and provider partners.
  • Coordinate responses to Contract Performance Notices, including review meetings, action plans and improvement trajectories.
  • Provide expert advice and a point of contact on contractual issues, resolving performance/service delivery concerns and escalating where appropriate.
  • Support annual planning and ensure alignment to national and local milestones relating to contract negotiations.
