We are looking to expand our Orthopaedic Hand Surgery service. As a Consultant Hand Surgeon you will be a highly valued member of our team bringing your expertise and skills to our elective surgical unit.
As a Practice Plus Group Consultant you will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. We offer high quality day case and inpatient treatment in a wide range of specialties, delivering excellent clinical care. You will be joining a team committed to delivering the highest standards in patient care.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to provide a high standard of specialist diagnosis, treatment and care to patients with hand surgical conditions as required by the case mix agreed for Practice Plus Group Hospital Birmingham with the commissioning ICB. You will also provide advice and assessment of patients as requested by the nursing staff during routine working hours.
As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard whether NHS or privately funded. You will be performing orthopaedic surgical procedures on patients referred to the hospital, working in accordance with hospital protocols and working practices.
