Job overview
We are looking to appoint a Part Time / 8PA’s Consultant with a specialist interest in both Haemostasis and Thrombosis and Haemaglobinopathy within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
Should a further vacancy arise shortlisted candidates may be considered.
Main duties of the job
The appointees will, together with consultant colleagues, contribute to the provision of a comprehensive Haemostasis and Thrombosis Service and the Haemoglobinopathy service. It is expected that the successful candidate works flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team in order to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment.

The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practice, name on the specialist register for Haematology or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview. If an applicant is UK trained, they must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
