Main duties of the job
As a Community Partner, this role acts as a vital link between CHEC and the communities we serve. The role focuses on building strong, lasting connections with local healthcare providers and organisations, while driving outreach that makes a genuine difference for populations. Alongside strengthening community ties, the role also supports the growth and visibility of CHECs private service, Clarity. Helping to expand our presence in the private healthcare sector and bring our high-quality care to more patients. Every connection made helps expand our reach, improve patient experiences, and ensure our services truly reflect the needs and voices of local communities.

Since 2012, CHEC has been working with the NHS to increase patient choice and provide better access to exceptional, timely, locally-based ophthalmology and gastroenterology care free at the point of care. CHEC has a nationwide portfolio of community hospitals and clinics operating in a unique hub-and-spoke model. We are proud to have a role alongside colleagues in the NHS, offering patients the choice of access to essential procedures and help achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. We continue to expand our community-based offering of vital healthcare to patients across England, including ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Dermatology services. Job responsibilities
Were looking for someone who can: Drive the partnership strategy for your region, building high-impact relationships with healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organisations. Align regional activity with CHECs national growth plans, NHS priorities, and local health needs to maximise relevance and impact. Lead the design and delivery of joint initiatives that expand service reach, tackle health inequalities, and improve patient outcomes. Act as the regional ambassador for CHEC, representing us at key meetings, forums, and community events. Collaborate across internal teams to ensure services are seamlessly integrated, efficient, and patient-focused. Oversee and manage budgets for regional partnership and community engagement activity, ensuring resources are used effectively to deliver maximum impact. Monitor performance through KPIs, data analysis, and community feedback, using insights to refine strategies. Identify new opportunities for growth, service innovation, and funding within your region.
