We currently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Band 5 nurses to join the East Area Out of Hours District Nursing Service:

Band 5 – various hours

The Out of Hours District Nursing Service cover a large geographical area, which covers Wrexham and Flintshire and other border locations. The team are based in Wrexham. The service is a 7 - day service working between 18.00 - 08.00 each day.

The aim of the service is to provide a timely respond to patients, families and other healthcare professionals to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, provide advice and support when other help is unavailable.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will be quick thinking, with the ability to problem solve, assess and deliver care to patients in any community setting.

Full induction into the roles will be supported, with opportunities for further career development.
