Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Children's Community Nursing Service in our Inner London Division. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Band 6 Children's Community Nurse looking to develop their skills within London's largest community healthcare trust.

You will work within the Children's Community Nursing Team, visiting children with a wide range of conditions in the community, aiming to reduce hospital admissions and attendances. The role includes nursing care, training and supporting families, deputising for Team Leads, and mentoring student nurses.

The team provides a service to children and young people aged 0–18, working across Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster, alongside colleagues in primary care, hospitals, social services and education.

As an added bonus, you'll also have the opportunity to rotate into our Special School Nursing Team when required — a great way to broaden your clinical skillset and gain valuable experience supporting children with complex health needs in an education setting.

This full-time post (37.5 hours/week) is worked flexibly over 7 days. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop your community nursing skills, with excellent mandatory training, an education programme, and regular clinical and safeguarding supervision.
