A vacancy has arisen for a Health Care assistant/Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services as part of the Community Treatment and Care service (CTAC). Changes within Primary Care have led to the opportunity for Health Care Assistants to work within the expanding care and treatment service. This post will work closely with the General Practice and Community Nursing Teams.

It is essential that you possess good communication skills, are flexible and adaptable and can work well within a team while using your own initiative.

You will be based within a team and will carry out delegated work daily that will include phlebotomy and Blood Pressure monitoring.

Good IT skills are desirable. Training will however be provided and NHS Forth Valley is supportive of lifelong learning and development. It is also essential that you are keen to learn and develop new skills.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
