This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical nurse specialist who is a nurse prescriber to showcase their clinical skills and leadership across two mental health teams within Health and Justice, HMP Haverigg CAT D and HMP Deerbolt CAT C male prisons.
Main duties of the job
The main duty of the job is to be the clinical lead for the mental health team's leading on professional development and ensuring the delivery of robust evidence-based practice.
The successful candidate, will hold a caseload of patients with complex needs, providing nurse-led diagnosis, and treatment planning
Post holder will be an NMP, (independent prescriber)

The main responsibilities of the post holder are:
To support the delivery of high quality care
To communicate effectivley with others , establishing and creating great working partnerships
Effectivley analyse information, identify problems , develop solutions , and make recommendations /decisions
Effective use of information systems ,and efficient/effective planning and organising of activities
Development , and implementation of policies and/or services
Undertaking research, audit and governance, providing assurance to others
Management of others , including planning and allocation of work, training and development
