
We have an exciting opportunity for a RMN or RNLD to become a Clinical Matron within our Children and Young Peoples inpatient service at HPFT.
Under the guidance and direction of the Head of Nursing, the Clinical Matron (Matron) is the professional/quality lead for the nursing staff within their specialist areas and is responsible for providing clear leadership and support to all clinical teams.
There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and innovative Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse Learning Disability to join our Specialist Services Division as Clinical Matron for our Tier 4 CYP Inpatient Unit. Forest House is a 14 bedded inpatient unit providing care for young people under the age of 18, experiencing mental health difficulties.
The Matron’s key responsibility is to ensure that service users’ experience safe and effective care delivered in partnership with them and their carers. This will be achieved through high visibility, accessibility and clinical leadership. The Matron will be expected to be a visible presence within their specialist clinical areas providing support, leadership and expertise, highlighting and taking appropriate action where there are concerns and deficits in care.
