Orthopaedic Clinical Leader: Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Theatre | Permanent | Full time Up to £52,500.00 per annum, dependent on experience 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
As an Orthopaedic Clinical Leader: Ensure the efficient running of the orthopaedic team, support and Deputise for the Clinical Head of Department (as required). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all members of the MDT , Consultants and Patients Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong "can do" attitude that replicates your own desire to succeed Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety and education Have SFA or SCP experience As our Clinical Leader, you will: Conduct and organize the Orthopaedic Clinical and the wider team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae, ENT, Recovery and Anaesthetics Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery. Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding

You're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team, knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential. As an Orthopaedic Clinical Leader:
