Clerical Officer
Band 2 - 22.5 hours - Monday/Wednesday and Friday.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service. This post will work within the Ashton locality providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams that are based at Crickets Lane Clinic, Mossley Clinic and St Andrews House on a rota basis.
Working as part of a team, the post holder will act as the first point of contact for all community services, therefore the post holder must have the ability to deal with the general public and have a positive approach to customer care. Administration experience is essential as you will be expected to undertake a full range of clerical tasks.
The Community Administration service is contracted to work between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

Main duties of the job
Provide a full range of clerical tasks to Healthcare Professionals.
Have a variety of IT skills to be able to use spreadsheets, word processing, e-mails and basic keyboard skills.
To use the patient administration system to book patient appointments.
General office management skills such as filing/management of records and telephone duties.
You may be required to provide administration support for services being provided off site.
To work as part of a team and to carry out tasks set by the Administrator/line manager.
To process incoming and outgoing mail.
The successful candidate will be required to respond to daily queries from internal and external organisations therefore applicants should be excellent communicators with good written skills. In addition it is a necessity that applicants have a good standard of typing and IT skills.
