Band 2 Clerical Officer - Full time

This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations. As part of your application, you will be asked to confirm that you are a current employee of The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women’s Hospital or, The Walton Centre.

The successful candidate will join our busy Head and Neck Care Group team on a Full-Time basis and be responsible for registering new referrals, booking appointments via IPM &  E- referral , answering telephone queries and general office tasks. You will work closely with our existing admin team staff  and also interact with patients on the telephone. Good communication skills are essential.

Applicants should demonstrate good IT/keyboard, communication and organisational skills. You will be required to work well under pressure. We treat high volumes of people daily.  Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

Duties will include dealing with referrals; arranging appointments; data entry; telephone enquiries and general office tasks. You need to be able to provide an optimum level of customer service to patients and staff, both in person and over the telephone.

The post holder must be self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.

Experience in the NHS would be preferable, however full training will be given.
