We're looking for someone to join our reception and clerical team, where you’ll help ensure the smooth running of our GP in ED Service within a busy Emergency Department. You’ll provide a professional and compassionate service, supporting patients, families, and medical staff in critical moments. We’re looking for someone with a caring attitude, quick thinking, and a desire to help.
About You:
- Educated to GCSE level or have equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a public-facing role with general office responsibilities.
- Enthusiastic and compassionate with the ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.
- A team player with a desire to contribute to the care and support of others.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Operational Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Support the admin & clerical tasks to ensure the smooth running of the GP in ED service which runs Monday - Friday 6pm - 11pm, Term-Time Only
- Provide a welcoming reception service for patients and visitors.
- Register patients and ensure accurate data entry onto NHS software/Systems.
- Direct patients to appropriate areas and answer questions with excellent customer service.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professionalism in challenging situations.
