Main duties of the job
In this role, the post holder provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) service, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team. They act as a key point of contact for patients, relatives, staff and external organisations, coordinating communication and supporting the delivery of patient care.
The role involves maintaining accurate records and data, supporting meetings and service activities, producing reports, and ensuring effective office systems and processes are in place. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, the post holder contributes to the efficient, organised and responsive delivery of the service while maintaining high standards of confidentiality, professionalism and patient care.

- Experience of using MS Office computer programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to minute meetings
- Evidence of continued CPD
- Experience of dealing with members of the public

- Knowledge of Vital Data, Clinical Portal and other NHS electronic systems
- Knowledge of working in a healthcare environment
