Main duties of the job
As a Bank Oncology Staff Nurse, you will: Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies Assist consultants during clinics Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies Be proficient in venepuncture, cannulation and the use of central venous access devices.

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services. The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we're about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.

As well as post-registration experience, you have experience in Oncology and a SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapies) qualification or you're working towards this. As a Bank Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:
